It’s been awhile!!
Hello Friends!
It has been so long since my pawrents posted on my blog!! Mom shattered her ankle and Dad types soooo slow, please forgive them:) I will take over for them from now on:) Hurley may get ahold of the laptop so BEWARE!!! He is a pain in my hiney sometimes but ya gotta love him, at least that’s what Mom and Dad tell me:)
We have decided to forgo Chemo, it truly is the most natural choice for us since we lost Samantha during her Chemo:( I have a new diet of grain free kibble and I LOVE IT!! YUMMY:) The Dr. says I am doing super need to have x-rays and blood work kinda often but that’s ok with me:) Now that my staples are out and I have free reign of the house I feel like a new man! I sleep in Mom & Dad’s bed when they are not home and relax on the love seat when they are, hehe:):) Hurley likes to bully me a bit but he is a “big fat juicy sausage” anyway (it’s ok, Mom & Dad call him that too:)) Charlie may have gone blind!! (poor old fella, my best buddy & oldest pal…) he just does not see me when I walk by anymore, I have to lick his teddy bear face before he even notices me:( EmmaLynn on the other hand is a crazy little kitty, she and I have been playing out in the yard together since the weather has been so amazing!! Mom & Dad decided to take me & Hurley on a walk last night, lol!!! It was so funny!! I really hate the leash, I am sure Mom told you that I am a free spirit and hop & sniff to the beat of my own drum and leashes just confuse me… Well those silly pawrents.. They put a leash on me and I went straight for the mailbox and forgot Mom was on the other end with a cast on her ankle!!!! Thank goodness neither of us got hurt! We all had a good laugh:) I do have to be on that darn leash during our walks since I forget to listen to Mom & Dad when I am on a sniffin’ mission:(
Well I had better go for now, Love & Licks!!! Gator Skator
Hey Gator!
I sure am sorry to hear about your Mom’s ankle. Hope she heels up as quickly as you did!
Be comfortable with your Mom & Dad’s decision. They know you best. I am sorry to hear about your Samantha. There are also holistic things you can look into to if your pawrents wanted to.
We are also on the grain-free (carb free) diet. We try to NOT feed any cancer cells with carbs and just feed the pooch with protein and fat.
Hope your Mom is better soon, and you both are careful when you go down to the mailbox. =)
